Let us come together at the 99th Annual Meeting

8 Kislev 5786

Dear Friend,

The 99th Annual Meeting of the Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts is fast approaching, marking a crucial moment for our vibrant community. This gathering on Thursday, December 4th at 7pm at the Springfield Jewish Community Center, is far more than a routine business meeting; it is a vital affirmation of our shared purpose and collective strength.

At the heart of the event will be the essential Reports to the Community delivered by the President and Executive Director. This comprehensive overview will detail the Federation's impact over the past year—showcasing the crucial work supported locally, in Israel, and across the globe. Attendees will gain a transparent view of how their contributions have translated into tangible change, from supporting educational initiatives to ensuring the welfare of the most vulnerable among us.

The Annual Report will be shared, providing a detailed financial and programmatic account of the Federation and Jewish Endowment Fund’s stewardship. This document underscores our commitment to fiscal responsibility and strategic planning, ensuring that every dollar donated is maximized for the greatest good.

A highlight of the evening will be the recognition of our most dedicated Western Massachusetts leaders with the prestigious Shem Tov Award. This award, which translates to "Good Name," honors the extraordinary individuals who exemplify the spirit of tikkun olam (repairing the world) through countless hours of selfless volunteerism. Their commitment is the engine that drives our success, and their recognition serves as an inspiration to all.

You are cordially invited to join us for a dessert reception and the Annual Meeting. Your presence demonstrates a commitment to our collective future and ensures that the Federation remains a strong, dynamic force for good in Western Massachusetts and beyond. Let us come together to celebrate our achievements and commit to the work ahead.

Shabbat Shalom

May this be a peaceful and restful Shabbat,

Adam Solender
