What is Babka? Babka is a sweet, dense, yeasted bread that originated in Eastern European Jewish communities, made by spreading a filling like chocolate or cinnamon on a sweet dough, rolling it up, and then braiding or twisting the layers before baking. It is popular in Israel and Jewish communities worldwide and has gained wider fame, especially through variations featuring rich fillings and visually appealing swirls.
Join Chabad Women’s Circle for a Babka Bake. The Babka Bake will include a live demonstration of making babka. There will be a variety of fillings for participants to choose.
