Since 2008, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and the Jewish Endowment Foundation (JEF) have partnered on this educational/philanthropic program. For agencies and synagogues, it provides legacy building training, trackinig, and stewarding. This forward-thinking programs seeks to engage local Jewish organizations in a collaborative endeavor that will ensure the strength of the Pioneer Valley Jewish community now and for the future.
Imagine if you could provide a gift to the Jewish community that would last forever. JEF's Life and Legacy initative is an endowment program designed to help you create permanent legacy gifts, demonstrating your belief in and committment to the continuity of Jewish life for generations to come.
In partnership with Jewish organizations and synagogues, this program helps individuals and famiiles create ongoing support for the Jewish causes they care about. All of us, regardless of age, wealth, or affiliation, have the ability to sustain a vibrant Jewish community now and in the future.
Program Goals
- Promote legacy giving as an opportunity for individuals to express their values and commitment to our Jewish community;
- Build relations among community partners through shared goals;
- Secure a vibrant future for generations to come.
