Congregation Rodphey Sholom of Holyoke, an Orthodox synagogue, was founded in 1896 with roots in the earlier Agudas Achim brotherhood. After early services in South Holyoke, the congregation built its first synagogue on Park Avenue in 1902, later relocating to its current site in 1953.
