Partnership 2000

A program of the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), Partnership 200 links more than 550 Jewish communities abroad with 34 Israeli regions in a shared effort to promote regional development in Israel, unity, and Jewish identity.

Western Massachusetts is part of the Southern New England Consortium which is partnered with the Afula-Gilboa region in Israel.  The Southern New England Consortium works with our Israeli partners to identify needs, determine priorities and allocate resources.  The Joint Steering Committee plans, implements and develops programs in the areas of: job creation; business networking; long-term absorption of Soviet, Ethiopian, and other immigrants; social, educational and cultural human needs; and enhancing Jewish identity.  For more information, visit www.snecp2k.org.
